Canada Partnering with Horizon Europe

ECCIR has launched this webinar series to help Canadian innovators connect with Horizon Europe, the European Union’s key funding programme for research and innovation worth over € 95.5 billion. As of November 2023, Canadians are eligible to apply to the program under Pillar II: Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness.

ECCIR’s “Canada Partnering with Horizon Europe” webinars bring together experts from academia, government, and industry to empower Canadians to:

Identify and apply to relevant Horizon Europe calls.

Find international partners for Horizon Europe projects.

In recognition of ECCIR’s profound expertise in Horizon Europe and its commitment to advancing the programme’s initiatives in Canada, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED)—the lead agency for Canada’s association with Horizon Europe and National Contact Point (NCP)—has designated ECCIR as a Horizon Europe “Friend of National Contact Points.” This distinction grants ECCIR privileged access to key information and positions the organization as a trusted advisor on a broad range of Horizon Europe-related matters. As part of this recognition, ECCIR engages in regular consultations with ISED, participates in routine update meetings, and receives exclusive invitations to high-level information sessions and events.
