Project Manager – Full-time Position
ECCIR is seeking a full-time Project Manager (40 hours/week) located in Edmonton to manage the delivery of key projects and programs.
You will support the development of project activities, coordinate the planning and execution of multiple initiatives, manage day-to-day progress, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver on time, within scope and budget, and to a high standard.
This is a 12-month term position with the possibility of extension. The position reports to the Director.
The ECCIR is the coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Canada Consortium. The EEN is the gateway to the world’s largest innovation and international growth network for small, medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, and researchers in innovating and expanding internationally.
You will support the development of project activities, coordinate the planning and execution of multiple initiatives, manage day-to-day progress, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver on time, within scope and budget, and to a high standard.

Ecosystem Development Partnership Project (60%)
- Manage and deliver activities supporting the international expansion of Canadian businesses (e.g. workshops, webinars, matchmaking activities, incoming delegations, roundtables, etc).
- Work with ecosystem partners to plan and deliver project initiatives.
Develop presentations, communications and reports. - Maintain alignment across workstreams and stakeholders.
Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Canada (20%)
- Work closely with the Director, EEN Canada Services and client companies to support business introductions, market research, partnership development, and database profile creation and/or updates.
- Provide client support by managing communications, including responding to inquiries and facilitating follow-ups related to EEN Canada services and activities.
- Research and identify relevant funding programs and financing opportunities, and provide client guidance on available supports for Canadian companies.
- Manage stakeholder engagement tracking, including maintaining the EEN’s B2B Matchmaking activities.
International Mobility Programs (Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, Internship Exchange) (10%)
- Identify and engage potential businesses (SMEs) for young talents travelling from and to Europe, build and maintain relationships.
- Support promotion and outreach in Alberta and across Canada (information sessions etc).
- Monitor program activities and prepare reports.
Administration & Coordination (10%)
- Manage meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas and follow-ups.
- Introductory meetings with partners, stakeholders, and clients.
- Maintain organized records of contacts, activities, and project documentation.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, public policy, or a related field
- Strong expertise in project management, event organization, and international collaboration
- Fluency in at least one additional language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Proactive in reaching out to and engaging with stakeholders and partners
- Ability to maintain professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in stakeholder-facing and high-level meeting environments
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

ECCIR operates with a distributed team across Canada. This role requires comfort working in a virtual environment, coordinating across time zones, and maintaining clear written communication.

- Hybrid work model available
- Candidate must be based in Edmonton
- Candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident)
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- Start Date: as soon as possible
- Term: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
- Probation Period: 6 months
- Salary: $75,000–$82,000 annually
- Vacation: available in the first year of employment
