ECCIR Attends Meeting with the Edmonton Consular Corps

In April, ECCIR had the pleasure of attending a meeting with the Edmonton Consular Corps.

This was an opportunity to meet the Honorary Consuls representing various European countries in Edmonton, along with representatives from the Government of Alberta’s Office of Protocol.

During the meeting, ECCIR’s President Carl Amrhein and Manager Lucy Haentschel presented ECCIR’s mission and latest projects to the Corps, exchanging ideas about advancing trading and business relationships with Europe.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Jerry Bouma, the Honorary Consul for the Netherlands and the Chair of the Edmonton Consular Corps for organizing the meeting. Thank you also to:

Jeannie Smith, Incoming Chief of Protocol at the Government of Alberta
Bjorn Morisbak, Honorary Consul for Norway
Lori Schmidt, Honorary Consul for Belgium and the Vice-Chair of the Edmonton Consular Corps
Shannon Haggarty, Outgoing Chief of Protocol at the Government of Alberta
Dean Sanduga, Honorary Consul for Mauritania
Gordon Reykdal, Honorary Consul for Iceland
Colm O’Carroll, Honorary Consul for Ireland
